Convention Schedule: Annually, between Feb 15 and Mar 31

Convention Notice: 45 days

Seasoning Requirement: State Convention: Must be a Registered Member as of Dec 31 of the year prior to the date of convention, or, became a resident of Kentucky and Registered Member after Dec 31 but at least 30 days before the convention. National Convention: Must be both a Voting Member in Kentucky, and a Sustaining Member of LP National for seven months prior to the National Convention.

Membership: Four categories of membership: Voting Members meet all three other requirements; Signatory Members sign the Statement of Principles; Registered Members are registered to vote as Libertarians in the state of Kentucky, or have a waiver if they are not able to register to vote; a Dues-Paying Member pays annual dues, currently $40 a year, or can obtain a waiver for volunteering or in-kind donations.

Conventions:

Delegate Selection: Voting Members are delegates to the State Convention, and elect the delegates to the National Convention.

How to Participate for 2025/2026: Sign up to become a Signatory Member, donate to become a Dues-Paying Member; register as Libertarian to become a Registered Member. Look for events in your local area. Join the national Libertarian Party as a sustaining member.
