Membership: California residents who register to vote as a Libertarian if eligible and either pay at least $25 annual dues for a LPCA membership (note that this website provides links for both National membership and LPCA membership; make sure the LPCA membership option is selected) or hold elected public office in California.

Conventions: The LPCA Convention is scheduled for February 22, 2025 - February 23, 2025, at The Embassy Suites, 1345 Treat Boulevard, Walnut Creek, CA 94597. Reservation Cut-Off Date: January 22, 2025.

Delegate Selection: All members are eligible to be delegates to the State Convention; delegates to the State Convention elect delegates to the National Convention.

How to Participate for 2025/2026: The seasoning deadline for 2025's convention was November 24, 2024, so it's too late for new members to sign up. Existing members, and anyone else who was a member for at least 90 days during 2024, should preregister at https://ca.lp.org/2025-convention/. Delegates to the 2026 National Convention will be elected by delegates to the 2026 State Convention.
