Convention Schedule: Annual, as determined by the Board of Directors, at least 180 days after previous convention and 73 days prior to the Colorado primary election

Convention Notice: 45 days, but delegates to the National Convention are solicited 60 days prior to state conventions where they are elected.

Membership: Colorado has two tiers of membership: Basic Members, Colorado voters who are registered Libertarians; and Sustaining Members, who pay at least $25 in annual dues.

Delegate Selection: All Sustaining Members who meet the 90 day seasoning requirement are eligible to be delegates to the state convention. The Board solicits applications for national convention delegates 60 days prior to the state convention, and publishes the applications to the website 30 days prior. Delegates to the state convention elect delegates to the national convention, but are not limited to those who applied.

How to Participate for 2025/2026: Register to vote as a Libertarian and pay $25 dues to the state party. Dates have not been announced for any convention.
